Multitask with agents, stay in control
Air is JetBrains' Agentic Development Environment: a standalone desktop app that lets developers delegate coding tasks to multiple AI agents at once and run them in parallel without stepping on each other. At launch it hosts Claude Agent (Anthropic), Codex (OpenAI), Gemini CLI (Google), and Junie (JetBrains) side by side, with code-aware task definition (files, commits, symbols, images), isolated execution via Docker or Git worktrees, workspaces that scope sessions per project, and a unified review surface for diffs. Authentication works via an existing JetBrains AI Pro/Ultimate subscription or BYOK keys from Anthropic/OpenAI/Google; cloud runtimes, team collaboration, and external integrations are flagged as coming soon. macOS-only preview at launch, with Windows and Linux planned.
