Windsurf

Windsurf is an agentic coding IDE/code editor for AI-assisted software development. It provides local agent workflows, codebase understanding, Cascade-style AI assistance, an Agent Command Center for local and cloud agents, Spaces, and one-click handoff to Devin cloud agents. First-party sources state Windsurf became part of Cognition and that Devin Desktop is the new name/next generation built on Windsurf’s IDE foundation.
