Zoom AI Companion is Zoom's AI assistant/AI feature suite for Zoom Workplace, providing capabilities such as meeting summaries, transcription, chat and email compose, call and voicemail summaries, task/action-item extraction, and context-aware assistance across Zoom products. As of 2026, Zoom says features that used to carry the AI Companion name are built directly into Zoom Workplace under functional names, while ZoomMate is a newer agentic add-on that builds on this AI foundation.
