Polyscope 0.15 added multi-server switching, base-repo mode, split diff view, commit logs, and plan mode for Codex and Cursor models. The release lowers setup friction for repo-scoped agents while broadening model choice across providers.

Polyscope 0.15 is mainly a workflow release for people running coding agents against real repos. In Marcel Pociot’s launch thread, the headline items are multi-server support, base-repository mode, plan mode for Codex and Cursor models, split-screen diffs, and commit logs. The practical shift is that more of the agent loop now happens inside the desktop app instead of through setup workarounds.
Two of the new controls tighten review and navigation. Pociot’s commit log post says you can inspect commits in the right sidebar, and clicking one opens the Polyscope diff view. Separately, the server-switching post says users with multiple servers can switch between remote and local instances directly in the desktop UI.
The clearest day-to-day change is broader model support. Polyscope’s plan mode update says plan mode is “no longer restricted to Claude” and can be used with “ANY model,” with Codex and Cursor called out explicitly. A later Cursor models post reinforces that Cursor-backed models are now part of the supported path.
Repo setup is also lighter. The base repository post frames the new option around getting “an agent up and running in your repository” without copying files, which makes Polyscope easier to drop into an existing codebase. On the navigation side, the repository selector post adds a CMD+N repository picker with the current workspace repo pinned at the top, and Pociot’s preview URL post says workspaces can expose preview URLs with automatic tunnel URLs on mobile or remote connections.
Another big update today! @getpolyscope 0.15 is now available: 1. Multi server support in the desktop app 2. Polyscope in your base repository path 3. Plan mode for Codex and Cursor models 4. Split-screen diff view 5. Commit logs ... and MUCH more 🔥 getpolyscope.com
You can now inspect all commits the right sidebar. Clicking on an individual commit gives you the Polyscope diff view.
Plan mode is no longer restricted to Claude! Use plan mode with ANY model - no matter if its Codex or @cursor_ai
Sometimes you just want to get an agent up and running in your repository - without copying any files. In Polyscope 0.15, use the "base repository" option and start using your agents right away.
