Image-token rates: $8/M input, $2/M cached input, $30/M output (standard; Batch output $15/M). Text prompt input separately costs $5/M tokens. Model-specific token use depends on the generated image; this is not a fixed price per image.
OpenAI’s current image-generation documentation identifies GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst as its most capable image generation/editing model and explicitly states its token rates. Standard image output costs $30 per million image tokens ($15 with Batch); image input costs $8 per million tokens and cached image input $2. Text prompt input is separately billed at $5 per million text tokens, so the normalized input price below represents image tokens, not prompt text.
